On Thursday, June 23, 2016, Scotland Memorial Foundation hosted the annual Men’s Health Event at The Boys and Girls Club in Pembroke, NC. This free event provided men a better understanding of how to stay healthy and information about the tools they can use to stay healthy.

This event was sponsored by Scotland Memorial Foundation in collaboration with the Lumbee Tribe of North Carolina.

FREE SCREENINGS
Local physicians partnered with the Foundation to offer FREE prostate cancer, cholesterol, A1C, and blood pressure screenings on Saturday, June 11th  from 8:00 am to 11:00am.The screenings were offered at Pembroke Family Practice, 410-D South Jones St., Pembroke. Free health screenings were provided by Scotland Memorial Foundation through the funds raised at its annual Putting on the Ritz-A Gala of Giving.
